radar..do you think this is the hotel they were working on in trinidad
The Spanish group Iberostar Hotels and Resorts opened its fifth hotel in Cuba in the colonial city of Trinidad, 335 kilometers south east of Havana.
Located in the historic heat of the third village founded in Cuba, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Trinidad is the second five-star establishment run by the group in the Caribbean Island.
Iberostar runs 1,400 rooms in the Cuban destinations of Varadero, Cayo Coco and Trinidad, 426 of which are in five-star hotels and 966 in four-star establishments.
The building, which was completely remodeled, is an ideal place for those interested in visiting central Cuba and learning about the city’s architecture.
The Spanish group has 90 hotels, including 18 establishments in the Caribbean

The Grand Hotel was nearing completion on my last trip.
At the beginning February we told it was two weeks away from completion.
On a trip to Trinidad in 2005 a local told me it was called the Hotel Canada. I quess if I were from Australia it may have been called Hotel Australia.
It’s located at the corner of Marti y Perez off Parque Cespedes. _________________ We are realists, we dream the impossible.
